Catch Up

So I've not really had the chance to write anything since the Carling Academy shoot. But I have been busy and for the first time in a long while, really enjoying myself. Over the last few weeks I've been working with other bands from Glasgow. Kizzy Star released their first single called Out of Control, with one of the first pictures I had ever taken of my friend Moe (Angel Of Death) and Kaleidoscope Eye's just launched their new EP which has my graphics work on it. Really proud of the outcome. The images for them can be seen on my myspace site.

I've just started printing out my portfolio for collage. Feel that now I have the right couple of images to put into it to hopefully get me onto a course without highers. Here's hoping anyways.
Also getting to work with some awesome people soon, can't actually wait but patience is a virtue :p

Here's some of my newer stuff. Hope you like.

Kizzy Star - Carling Academy

It's offical. We're now marking this gig as my FIRST live shoot. It was bloody harder than I thought. Luckily enough I had some great photographers giving me tips and hints on how to make it easier on myself so I did thankfully get on or two great images. Boys sounded fantastic.

Working With Kizzy Star

So this is a kind of joint blog.

I was invited along to one of the bands rehearsal nights to take some images of them. Just a small preview but very pleased with the outcome. My first time doing anything that wasn't promo and I think I done alot better than I first expected :)

I was also very lucky to be invited out the King Tut's when they were headling last week. Now this was my first attempt at live photography and as everyone knows my worst nightmare when it comes to photography. Was a fantastic night, finally settled down and just got on with taking the pictures and managed to get a lot of great shots. Especially for my first time. I'm rather pleased with myself as you can tell. Soak it up :p

I shall also be attending there next Glasgow gig next week when they support Sharleen Spiteri. The tour should be great exposure for the boys so here's hoping for the best. Check out there music on myspace www.myspace.com/kizzystar and show your support to theses up and coming artist.

Flowers In The Dustbin

Razorchild is very happy to announce that I will now be working along side the amazing Flowers In The Dustbin.

I was luckily enough to get to work with the lovely Barry Hollywood a few weeks ago.
